After you have requested a refund on Taobao from Taobao Merchants, refunds for Taobao payments from Taobao Merchants will first be deposited to RateX before being transferred to you.
Here are the steps to claim your refund:
- After Taobao merchants approve and process your refund, send a refund request via email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
- Your email subject line should be: “Refund Request for My Taobao Order.” Your email should contain the following:
- Screenshot of the breakdown of the refunds transaction from your Taobao refund request.
Please try to ensure that both the amount refunded and time that the amount was refunded is included for making the refund process more efficient in the screenshot as shown below.
- RateX Order ID. (You can find it in the RateX payment confirmation email sent to you after your transaction. Refer to the screenshot below.)
Note that refunds may take up to 5-10 business days to be reflected on your statement.
